Description
Kim Berman's book Finding Voice explores how visual arts training can be used to drive social change in South Africa. Through her own fieldwork, she demonstrates the potential for hands-on art work to contribute to economic stability and improve public health and gender justice within communities.
Berman shows how community artwork can provide a powerful means of citizens finding their individual voices and becoming agents for change in areas such as human rights and democracy.
