Description

Duncan Hallas Indomitable Revolutionary : [a Tribute] is a tribute to a remarkable life and a call to a new generation to enrich their understanding of revolutionary socialism. Duncan Hallas was a genuine working-class autodidact who made significant contributions to the international socialist tradition, spanning theory, propaganda, and action. As a key figure in the Socialist Review Group, which later became the International Socialists and the Socialist Workers Party, Hallas was known for his commitment to the working-class cause internationally. He took part in various revolutionary struggles, including an apprentices' strike in Manchester and an army mutiny in Egypt, and played a crucial role in establishing rank and file teachers' organisations. This book is a testament to Hallas's enduring legacy, offering insights into his life and work that will be valuable to those seeking to deepen their understanding of revolutionary socialism.
