Description

Dom Augustine Baker 1575-1641 by Geoffrey Scott A major study of the English mystical teacher Dom Augustine Baker O.S.B., this volume brings together work from scholars across various disciplines to explore the complexity of his thought. Nearly forty volumes of Baker's works have been edited and published over the last two decades, but a comprehensive analysis of his teachings remains scarce. This book is the only major study currently available on Baker's rich and complex spiritual tradition. It provides valuable insights into his life and work, shedding light on the significance of his extant treatises. Published in 2012, this volume offers a unique opportunity for readers to engage with the thought and legacy of Dom Augustine Baker O.S.B.
