Description
Troy Horan's life is one of quiet desperation. Exiled from his home planet after an interstellar war, he now lives in the Dipple, a restricted area for subcitizens, under the watchful eye of the police state. His only companions are the animals at the interplanetary pet shop where he works.
But when a murder forces Troy to flee with his animal friends into the Wild, they stumble upon mysterious, sealed ruins that conceal Korwar's most fiercely guarded secret. With no one he can trust and an entire government under siege, Troy must lead his extraordinary band of warriors in a final bid for freedom.
As they fight for their lives, Troy discovers the true reason behind the animals' presence on Korwar and the source of his own unique connection to them. Will they be able to overcome the odds and claim their freedom, or will none of them survive?
