Bygone Peterhead offers a glimpse into life in early to mid-twentieth century Peterhead, with a collection of photographs showcasing the town's industries and daily life.

The harbour is featured prominently, with images of herring boats and their fishermen, as well as other local businesses such as the Great North of Scotland Granite Co. and the Invernettie Brickworks. A striking photograph from 1908 commemorates the completion of work at South Harbour, attended by around 9,000 spectators.
