Description
Bad Ronald is a gripping mystery novel by Jack Vance. When 17-year-old Ronald Wilby encounters Carol Mathews one evening, the encounter ends in tragedy. Convinced that an accident occurred, his mother creates a secret room for him to hide in until she can save enough money to start anew. As time passes, however, Mrs. Wilby falls ill and the house is sold to another family. With no escape from his past, Ronald finds himself tempted by the very walls he once sought refuge behind. This haunting tale of youth, guilt, and redemption is a worthwhile read for fans of suspenseful fiction. Released in 2017 as part of the Spatterlight Press Signature Series, Bad Ronald features a facsimile of Jack Vance's signature and a previously unpublished photograph from his archives.
