Description

David Spade's memoir offers a humorous and irreverent look at his life, from his childhood as a wannabe cool younger brother to his rise as a comedian and actor. With a wit as dry as the weather in Arizona, Spade recounts his experiences on the road to fame, including low-paying gigs and encounters with eccentric characters. The book also covers Spade's time on Saturday Night Live during the 1990s, where he formed close relationships with fellow comedians Chris Farley and others. Alongside these stories, Spade shares tales of the perks and pitfalls of fame, including a run-in with Eddie Murphy and a bizarre incident involving an ex-assistant. Throughout the book, Spade's sharp wit and humor shine through, making for a funny and engaging read that offers a unique glimpse into the life of one of comedy's most beloved figures.
