Abandoned Australia is a visually rich exploration of the modern ruins scattered over the Australian continent. Photographer Shane Thoms uncovers the stories behind these desolate landscapes, revealing beautifully broken abodes and atmospheric scenes that allow us to reconstruct the past.
The book delves into the history of a growing, diverse country with a complicated past, highlighting both happy family moments and human darkness.
