Description
A Plum Assignment explores the enduring appeal of P. G. Wodehouse's works through essays and discussions by two lifelong friends, Curtis Armstrong and Elliott Milstein. Their shared passion for Wodehouse's writing is reflected in their own papers and presentations, which are gathered here for the first time. The book delves into various aspects of Wodehouse's oeuvre, from the humorous exploits of Bertie Wooster to the satirical portrayals of characters like S. F. Ukridge. By examining these different facets, A Plum Assignment offers a nuanced understanding of Wodehouse's writing style and its continued relevance today. This collection provides an insight into the world of P. G. Wodehouse through the eyes of two friends who have been inspired by his work for decades.
