Description
Riley Jo is a teenager with a clear vision for her future. Born and raised in Arkansas, she's determined to make it as an indie rock musician. When her parents surprise her by supporting her attendance at a prestigious arts-focused boarding school in Los Angeles, she seizes the opportunity. At Carlmont Academy, Riley Jo joins a band and sets out to perform at the annual spring concert, with the chance to land a record contract. However, things don't go as planned. She's sidelined when her bandmates prefer a more conventional lead singer, and she's forced to take matters into her own hands. With her talent and determination, Riley Jo writes an original song to showcase herself, but ultimately faces challenges in taking center stage.
